Child Electronic Registration and Vaccination
In developing world, strengthening routine immunization is a challenge and many countries are struggling to improve it. Children immunization is foundation to save the lives of every child through vaccines and eradicate vaccine preventable diseases. Routine Immunization is a process of timely vaccination on the recommended schedule to improve the health outcomes of the community. The basic challenges in the routine immunization are to
find unvaccinated children and follow-up the partially vaccinated children. Electronic Immunization registry is an option to identify the defaulter and missed children by capturing hand/foot thumbprin expressions of new born. Pace Technologies has developed Child Electronic Registration and Vaccination (CERV) mobile App
equipped with an ordinary biometric scanner, the app is interlinkedwith Logistics & Management Information module of the EPI MIS to improve the vaccine utilization up to vaccinator level. The application maintains immunization record of registered children along with their identification (e.g. picture, thumbprint, mobile no. etc.). The thumbprint database would be used to identify unvaccinated and partially vaccinated children. The CERV app maintains the permanent register, daily register, tally sheets, stock register and the vaccinator attendance.
